Debates are not the end of the world. Those in Christ will not be destroyed by debates.

Again, we have the example of Paul and Barnabus. Now I get that me and you are not to the status of Paul and Barnabus. If that should even be said, because God loves all his children the same, and the greatest will be the least and the least the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.
Anyway, they got in a huge debate, argument, whatever you want to call it. It was so bad, we know they separated from each other, and they were on a very important mission when they separated. Still, both continued in the Lord, and eventually over time, probably a very long time, they came back together.

Because God is Sovereign, I have no doubt he had a bigger purpose in them separating than they could have known at the time.
