I know this question and the others are for Sam, and I want to hear his answer too.

But I'll tell you what I think is the reason. Because it's too simple. Because anybody can do that. That doesn't bring in millions of dollars so you can lust your way through life at the expense of others. Simply praying for someone just doesn't get the job done, the job of being able to live a wicked corrupt life.

Follow the money trail. We've all heard it. There is a huge money trail with all these health/wealth, word of faith preachers, at least with the well known ones. I'm sure there are other motives too. And some maybe are just plain deceived.

But most are going to be hearing this unfortunately when they stand before God:

Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Tweet
