You may have a point about the brain being an organ just like other organs, but I think Szasz is onto something. You should read the history of psychiatry. Charcot created an illness out of people parodying misbehavior and was heard admitting in an informal conversation that it's "les choses genitales." In other words, sexua| repression. I could definitely see that. I'm looking forward to reading more of Szasz's books because he unveils what is a callous, cynical industry. Tweet
