Re: DePuy Hip Replacement

Hi,

I suffer from hip arthritis so I went trough a THR 3 years ago. It was a huge relief to regain my old mobility and I'm glad I opted for this surgery, despite the fact that I had problems with just the same hip implant you mentioned. The Depuy ASR system which I received was unfortunately one of those that the company later recalled. I know how horrible is to go through a revision surgery and what the company did with those implants for patients like me is a mockery. I do not intend to join any lawsuits, but I can totally understand those who are thinking about it. Basically I lost 6 month with my second recovery, but I'm glad now that I'm ok and my hip implant is also problem free.
