Hey....I know that one :)

I used to have that. Chronic stress leads to chronic hyperventilation. And chronic hyperventilation leads to more stress.

And paradoxically, hyperventilation leads cells starving for oxygen.

This is why people with asthma often have an asthma attack after having a good laugh. The laughing creates hyperventilation....then they are starving for oxygen.

The Buteyko Breathing Technique completely stopped this for me. It breaks the cycle of hyperventilation and stress.

If you are short of breath...it is probably due to over-breathing
