Re: Nice try, Troll

the difference is this mira:

1st off i haven't seen anyone attack you here, and i don't intend to. the reason is that you come off as a sincere person who isn't trying to humliate anyone. gerty, well not so much.

as far as iodine goes, i personally am pro natural iodine, and i'm on the fence about lugols. but i haven't once tried to humiliate anyone that has success with it. there are enough pro iodine natural doctors out there and enough personal testimonials here on curezone, notwithstanding the entire net, to warrant giving it credit as very powerful natural healing tool.

why hasn't trapper dropped dead yet from iodine poisoning? or a better question is, why has his health returned after uisng megadoses of iodine if it is so toxic? why are there more than a few ladies here who cured themselves of breast cancer using iodine? we aren't talking about masking symptoms of a fever, we are talking about curing cancer here.

furthermore, many of of the people here in this forum, and in curezone in general, are simply not stupid people. the vast majority of people know the difference between a cleansing reaction and suppressing a symptom. insinuating that people don't know the difference is similar to what allopathic doctors do. and this has led to the multi billion dollar natural health industry in the u.s. which is growing and growing with no end in sight.

what herty gerty does, is systematically try to humiliate just about every person who has success with a therapy that doesn't bear his stamp of approval. and he does this all in the name of 'science'. iodine is just one of the many therapies that he has targeted. a simple single post of disagreement or questioning is all that is needed to go on record, not to spend hours and hours calling people idiots or questioning people's basic abilities to monitor their health or the endless LMAO posts that he writes.

if he were truly so interested in helping people he would post his disagreements once and then get on to helping people in his forum, but he has all but left tons of people hanging there. perusing his forum you see a lot of people who worship his knowledge but aren't really recovering from anything. meanwhile there are people here who cured cancer with iodine... so how dare he open his mouth for one second in light of this.

if a person is not in touch with their own body to self-help then so be it. they don't need some blowhard telling them how stupid they are, adding insult to injury. and they don't need a savior because they chose self-help in the first place and took responsibility for their actions as is clearly stated in the curezone homepage.

all of this is notwithstanding the FACT that tons and tons of people have reported nearly miraculous results with liver flushes, iodine, diets, etc etc. this alone should be good enough, but then they have to deal with this little arrogant man poking and prodding and needling all of the successes, and then he wonders why he is met with hostility?

if people were dropping like flies and going to the emergency room after iodine intake, then maybe he would have a point and some sort of action might be warranted, but the fact is that the opposite is happening and yet he still continues his little crusade against simple, inexpensive therapies like iodine that people are having wild success with.

let the liver flushers be, let the iodine drinkers be, let the dieters be, all free to make their mistakes, revel in their successes and spread their good cheer. we don't need a fake know it all raining on the parade, even if he is convinced that he alone in the human race has the only answers to health (backed up my links to corrupt studies)

the debate forums were set up for a reason, so people should use them if they want to be combative. it is obvious that certain forums have their collective consciousness, so poking the beaahive is going to produce predictable results.

in geryty's case though it goes way beyond anything a lot of us have ever experienced, and it is pretty obvious that he sees himself as some sort of internet health savior, but without the actual results to back it up. his new phrase is 'some rumors floating around the internet'. he actually thinks he alone is going to dispell 'rumors circulating on the internet'. what sort of grandiose personality takes it upon themselves to set THE ENTIRE WORLD STRAIGHT?

curezone was a better place for a while when gerty left. his presence is so inciteful that he does a disservice just by even posting innocuous things.

peace
