sounds as though you are dealing possibly with an abdominal infection of filarial/strongyl type parasites. The larvae migrate throughout the entire body leaving one with possibly the impression that the infection is actually attacking there when really its merely migrating larvae. For me this usually occurs as I am treating the abdominal infestation. The normal migration of the larvae go from your stomach to heart/cardiovascular/lymphatic system thoughout the body and eventually to the respiratory tract (nasal passages, sinuses, throat/lungs etc where they are coughed up from then swallowed back to the intestines ... and so the cycle continues.
