yep!. I fully understand where your coming from. I've tried a product called Humet-R last year, what a joke it was. I experienced no change in my condition except a load of re-distrubution symptoms that were similair to my servere mercury symptoms that I had in 2010. I had all 10 of my mercury fillings removed in 2011 by a mercury free dentist in the UK, but what makes me laugh is that many of these mercury free dentists also put this mercury crap into peoples mouths as well. I know how you feel about this candida issue. The diets I think do more damage to our already heavily effected bodies thanks to heavy metals. There's no way on this Earth that you can be 100% 0 carbs and sugar, it just isn't possible. I have a very low secreatory IgA which has contributed to a leaky gut. I'm trying to heal my gut with meat bone broths. I've lost aload of body mass since going on the candida diet back in March of 2011. Its amazing how quickly you lose fat. I'm so sorry that your stuck out in Eygpt and that the ALA caused those problems for you. My heart goes out to you Mike. DMSA is extremely expensive to buy in the UK. I'm hoping to secure some DMPS from a private hospital in the UK, unfortunately DMPS isn't available over the counter in the UK or through a doctor's scriipt here. My GP had never heard of DMSA or DMPS, in a matter of fact they don't even recognise low chronic mercury posioning either, your just considered mad or attention seeking, and you should see a NHS "quack" psychiatrist.
