Wish you all the best--lots of unseen support, is there.
It's good to be very circumspect about what you are doing, and just keep a low profile. Lots of tooth brushing, with just plain water will keep you feeling a little fresher.
Do avoid the toothpaste, because it will keep stirring up a desire to taste something.
"How have you experienced fasters dealt with the boredom and that feeling of wanting to taste something?"
well, again, avoid the toothpaste, (and mouthwash) and I have turned to smelling things. (It is hard to remove oneself from the senses entirely!)So I get very interested in flowers and essential oils, incense and such. And the smell of a beeswax candle burning, for example. It's a good time to buy yourself some flowers -- you feed yourself through the eyes too. I also love to take baths, although when I'm Water Fasting it's more of an in and out thing--and often just to get warm. I like to drink hot, boiled water too.
