Re: has anyones doctors admitted that their iuds could be the problem
Ob/gyn #1 (who lost the Mirena in me) said, "5% of women can't handle it." But his solution was to try birth control pills ON TOP of Mirena before taking it out. Mistake. Then he was a jerk after the laproscopy so I changed. . .
Ob/gyn #2 had a Mirena herself, so she didn't listen. She had no ideas at all for making me feel better.
Ob/gyn #3 said my hormones were way out of wack. Didn't really comment on Mirena. His only solution was prog. cream. Just tried it for 9 months. Not effective.
Ob/gyn #4 said he's stopped placing them from all the problems they cause.
Rhem. said she had one and had it out because it caused migraines.
Other doctors (neuro., allergist, neuro opthamologist etc.) have nodded their heads and written it down but didn't really comment. But I really think the word is getting out. Maybe soon it will be off the market. . .
