Re: Does daily dry fast have value?

"There is a utilization crisis that your body has to go through where it learns how to use its resources better. However, after the 5 days DF, the shorter 36-48hr DFs serve a similar purpose as the 5 days. "

Will you explain this in more words?

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. It is kind of you to be willing to share your experience and knowledge.

"the benefits of the short DF is to get you accustomed to doing a longer one. Apparently the best option is the 5 day and the point initially of the shorter ones is to get you to that point."

Since this is the main benefit, there is no point for me to do short fasts I guess. I actually did DF for a little bit more than 2 & 1/2 days a couple years ago. I could have gone on physically but I opted to stop for emotional comfort. DF is not much more difficult for me than water fast. I do not need much water. I am actually doing a dry fast right now. I will see how far I could go.
