Diet is also important. I've had a high TSH and still didn't have nearly the same complaints as most people just because I don't eat the way they do. If you're drinking coffee that burns out your adrenals and doesn't help. Can't go wrong with a low carb/gluten free diet or a raw food diet. Not everything is thyroid related. Most people are deficient in many nutrients because you don't absorb them well with thyroid problems so a better diet helps because of that too.
