Well, I tried bleach. Didn't seem to work on my clothes on the first try. I also couldn’t find any dryers and had to air dry them at night.

I tried it again in the day again with bleach, both regular and natural laundry soap, left them in the sun to dry, and it seemed to work better. It’s warm here and dry with low humidity, which I think helps.


Other stuff, small items like extra glasses, some healing items (powdered charcoal, wooden spoons, lotions), in a container also with bleach and soap and swished them around and hand washed them.

I wore gloves, but as I was washing them I felt a slight familiar sick feeling –as if something was hurting my head and my stomach. Pressed on and put it in the sun to dry.

I’ll add that I hand washed clothes with charcoal powder with water clothes on a previous attempt. Do not think that helped, but it did stain a white shirt. Weird thing is, the two times I used bleach in the machine it did *not* lighten –any- clothes. Even my blue jeans and a black t-shirt.

As for Borax - I didn't find any out here.

If the bleach doesn’t do it, anyone have any other ideas? Tweet
