Basal Cell Carcinoma - cured with Iodine.
As a herbalist, I tend to research many alternative therapies for myself and those I treat. I usually have a healthy amount of scepticism when doing my research until I can verify word of mouth stories with fact. I had for some time a small basal cell carcinoma on my arm which I had been trying to cure with various herbal extracts. They were effective in keeping the lesion small, but did not cure it. After reading many articles about baking soda and alkaline states killing cancer, I decided I would test this theory out. The baking soda mixed with herbal tinctures that I applied at firts was seemingly eating away at the cancer cells. It was however, too messy and difficult to apply for the length of time necessary.
I therefore decided to change my strategy to using
Lugol's solution iodine. This is a potent form of iodine, stronger than the normal shop bought iodine. I applied it religiously until the scab had formed and fallen off twice. It took approximately 1 month and the skin underneath was left whole and cancer free. Only a small pinkish tinge of scar tissue remains. I have heard that sometimes the scab needs to fall off three times with bigger lesions.
I would encourage anybody with this type of skin cancer to try this cure instead of surgery and other treatments where lesions have a high reccurence rate
If anyone needs further ifo on this treatment, I will be happy to answer any questions
