Re: leukocytoclastic vasculitis
Very interesting!! I was JUST diagnosed with skin vasculitis two weeks ago after completing KEFLEX for inner ear infection that nothing would take away, not even silver. I've taken Keflex in the past and never had a reaction, but the doctor told me that it was drug induced, after running a blood panel to check my blood.
Mine has stayed on the back of my calves, both of them. Started off as little red spots, that began spreading massively and covering only the back part. They turned into blisters, stayed as blisters with gunk in them, burst on their own and now are scabbed over. I swear it looks like chicken pox.
I've stopped breaking out, and now in the healing cycle it seems.
the doctor also told me that the sovereign silver I took could have done this, but I'm not willing to believe that yet.
I hope you find some answers, as I too am looking for why this happened to me.... it was very scary when it all began, as vasculitis not limited to the skin region can be life threatening.
