orange metal tasting saliva/ mold in classroom

I posted earlier about my 90 year old classroom. I bought two HEPA purifiers and they definitely helped--until they started messing around with the AC system! Now I am back to the horrible body aches, lethargy, facial rash, dilated left eye, burning down my throat, sandpaper eyes, blood in nose, and sometimes spitting up small amounts of blood or orange colored metallic tasting "stuff."

I know my lungs are compromised because I always fail my breathing test at the allergist and my oxygen test was bad, too. (Although after only 3 weeks of the HEPA's, he said I had the best result so far!).

Soooo. . .does anyone know what the orange stuff could be??? I'm worried my body will have permanent damage.

ALSO, the pregnancy I had in this poisonous room resulted in a child with a birth defect. Does anyone know of a link between mold and birth defects? I feel like we can't risk having another child while I'm there, but I can't afford to quit work. The principal is in complete denial even though so many of us are sick (though none as bad as I). Tweet
