By the way "practiced" is spelled with a "c" Einstein.

Besides your history is revised and misuses words, the correct term was mercantilism, were the land was owned by the queen and the pilgrims who were still subjects of the queen were collected in groups using redistribution of agricultural products that were grown by the able and fit while the unfit or dependent reaped their share for doing nothing, this system failed as usual and many pilgrims died of starvation until the land was parceled off to the family unit and allowed to keep whatever they produced and sell off the surplus. They prospered to unlimited heights establishing the free market system and the sanctity of home and family.
