Just a couple of extra thoughts...

I'm surprised you haven't called your doctor about this. I do think it's an indication of kidney disease that isn't mild. It also seems likely that your everyday habit is to not drink enough water.

If you don't drink enough water, you are much more susceptible to constipation.

Sounds a lot like my straining to urinate that inflames the nerve in the crotch/upper thigh. You might be able to easily fix your inflammation problem, though. Try taking psyllium husks at night at bedtime. 500 mg fixes me up. (Some people need twice that amount.) If you can quit your straining, the leg/hip/back pain might gradually subside.
