Re: My Iodine Experience so far....help?
Hello ParrotGirl,
Personally I'm not a fan of taking THAT much supplements at different times of the day.. for instance an isolated magnesium supplement can mess up the pH balance in your GI. Wouldn't taking a good balanced multivitamin/mineral supplement be alot more convenient?
Boron is a must. Studies have shown increased retention of magnesium and calcium when supplementing with boron simultaneously. Additionally, boron helps with getting rid of the fluoride that
Iodine sets free. However, boron lowers manganese so I wouldn;t overdo it
If you haven't already added turmeric into your diet, I recommend you do it right now. It has numerous benefits including potential heavy metal chelating

It is also a known anti-inflammatory agent; which generally helps with depressive symptoms.
Another aryuvedic herb you should consider is Bacopa. Bacopa has shown to positively affect the thyroid and there are literally 100 studies regarding bacopa and the brain. It has shown benefits in Anxiety,
Depression and cognitive performance.. (Boron helps with cognitive performance too btw

Finally, if you are allergic to fragrences, cigarette smoke, dead bodies covered in formaldehyde as preservative( I am lol), sulfite, garlic/onions and have/had candida.. you should consider taking molybdenum.. Molybdenum is part of several enzymes including the ones responsible for the breakdown of Aldehydes (acetaldehyde is a candida waste product).
