Re: For Fruit lovers - and those as-yet *unfound* ;-)
true... and I can recall times in my life when the idea of fruit would repel. Often something that is concentrated protein will 'mask' a state of nutrient-deficiency in the mineral department, and also slow down a cleansing response. Lots to consider.
I've noticed some people find (dried) figs especially off-putting. Shuddering, even, at the thought! ( There is an expression, "makes my teeth ache", just to think if it. And dates--dates can have added glucose, which makes them junk; fake food. You might say, well, they are not natural, in that they are very concentrated; same as dried apricots.) It could also be that the effects of a fruit can be so *suddenly alkalizing* as to cause the body to dump a lot of accumulated acids--which can make you feel quite yuck for time:this could cause a person to develop an aversion.
I wonder, if we had access to actual tree-ripened fruit(as most do NOT) whether we -as a whole- would find fruit generally much more appealing.
Also, the further away from that naturally-cooked scenario (of tree-ripened and easily digestible) one goes, into the processed realms, the more complicated become the various ways the body *doesn't* work (respond) correctly.
If a person thinks of fruit as being anything but the real, unadulterated kind, they are almost certainly thinking of added sugars, and other poisons.
