I just found this website and am so grateful...my husband has cancer and we are switching to a macrobiotic diet...I just wanted to thank you for explaining so well and clearly the differnces in pressure cooking to a simple pot...(as I did in the 70"s)..no wondering if an inexpensive like Presto would be fine..we are on a limited budget...Namaste
