My doctor wanted me on VSL ES!!! Thats 900 billion!! (extra strength) I tried it, but I seemed to have a horrible reaction to it! It sent me running! A shame, because it cost me a co-pay. I still have it in my fridge. Maybe I should attempt to try it again. I don't want to waste it. I don't think it matters, IBS or candida. It's a heavy dose that we all could benefit from. But I think it's in a milk base? That may be why it didn't agree with me!
You know, I notice we react to different probiotics. It seems some agree much better than others. I like the Renew Life Probiotics, or Thera-Biotics. Also, I noticed Nature Made has made them in higher amounts as well, entetric coated, non-milk based, and cheaper than Renew Life. I saw one for 90 billion. I may just get that and try it. My doctor told me to cut back to only 30 billion, but I didn't agree. I think they are helping me a lot and I'm going to keep taking higher doses. I'm still taking the B3 Niaciniminde and Lactoferrin. Tweet
