Cannot cure pinworms... losing hope

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, though I've been ghosting around for a while. I am at the end of my rope, as the various and constant treatments to cure a pinworm infection do not seem to be eliminating the infection. I'm running out of hope and ideas, and wondering if the members of this forum might be able to help me out.

I discovered I was infected with what I believe to be pinworms (from god-knows-where) approximately 4 months ago, both in the front and the back. I was able to get rid of the genitourinary infection only to become reinfected a few weeks later... and I am back to being completely infected. I do not know how long I've had this, my doctor holds the belief that I've had it for at least a year to be so heavily infected =(. It's horribly frustrating (and EXPENSIVE! w/o insurance) and I don't even know if the meds are working.

I started with vermox, both single doses and 3 day doses with no effect. Then tried vermox with ivermectin, with little effect. Since, I have been on an albendazole & ivermectin regimen, gradually increasing the dosage of albendazole (from 200mg 1x daily for 3 days, to 1x daily for 5 days, to 400mg once a day then 400mg twice daily for 5 days) to most recently being on a 10-day regimen with a 2 day break in the middle of ivermectin and albendazole 400mg 2x daily. I am working with my provider and debating going to a 2-week on, 1 week off regimen (as per ICU's //www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1586882#i).
However, whereas many people seem to have gotten quick results from this combination, I, after ~2 months on it, have not seen a drastic improvement (or better yet, a complete cure!)

They have been much less since I first discovered them... I have more of a normal life than at the start however, it seems that their levels are just being maintained instead of decreasing and I'm not sure if it's just a time thing, or that the medicine is becoming ineffective. Or if maybe I'm infected with a different though similar parasite.

Thanks!
