Dear Haveragerthi: we HAVE tried fiber and water

Believe it or not, many of us already have tried "increasing fiber and water intake". People for whom this works please realize that it does not work for everyone, for heavens sake. I maintain a high fiber diet and plenty of liquids between meals because it is good for me in other ways, but it has NEVER helped constipation, and does not for some other people.
