Mirena PMS Symptoms

I've been reading this message board for awhile now and I empathize with all of you. I have a question regarding Mirena and your symptoms.

My question is: do/did your symptoms stay constant once they started or did they change from month to month.

Here's my story to help you understand me more. I had Mirena inserted in May 2010 6 weeks after the birth of my 2nd child. I decided it was the best choice for me, no period, no thought involved. For the first 6 months I bled almost constantly. All in all, there was probably a total of a week and a 1/2 that I wasn't bleeding/spotting.

Then, in November of 2010 everything suddenly stopped and I started getting nauseous, weepy, got indigestion and my hands started falling asleep at night (a sure sign I'm pregnant). Took a HPT that was negative and went on about my merry way. Then for the next few months I started a cycle of bleeding very heavily and long one month and the next nothing. On the bleeding months I would have cramps, nausea and the hand issue. Then in about April, everything stopped, except the hand thing, which has been recurring. Then in June, I noticed that I smelled strangely, almost like a dead rodent (gross I know). A shower will fix it, but it comes back within the day. I have this smell continually unless I have a period, which I have had one since April in August I think. So everything has been good and no strange pregnancy symptoms other than the hand thing until this month. I'm getting indigestion again, have been horribly weepy, bloated and nauseous.

I don't know if these symptoms mean that I will bleed this month, or if they're just Mirena deciding to act up again. The weepy has been going on for a few weeks now and everything else has started today.

So that is why I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced symptoms that just come and go and show up whenever they want to.
