Re: Anxiety Mirena

Birth control meds cause a deficiency in b vitamins and certain minerals. It would be a really good idea to go to a health food store and get a quality multi-vitamin supplement, a high potency b-complex supplement and a good chelated multi-mineral supplement and a separate chelated magnesium supplement. Also a separate vitamin C supplement -- buffered or ascorbyl palmate form.

Take an extra magnesium morning and night with your multi mineral. Magnesium glycinate is a good form, but you may have to try a couple of different types to see which you tolerate. Start with a low dose of magnesium and work your way up. Magnesium will help with the anxiety as will the b vitamins.

Take the vitamin C away from your minerals as taking them together can cause loose stools.

There's tons more info out there, so google on birth control pills and vitamin and mineral deficiency.
