Is this due to collagen loss via high cortisol adrenal fatigue? I have two on each lower leg. They become visible when I exert force on my legs like with running and straight away when crouching.
Hernias are in large part from a loss of collagen, which gives the tissues their strength. So a loss of collagen makes the supportive tissues more likely to tear.
Could it be soft tissue inflammation instead of hernias?
It could be several things including lipomas or cysts. Do they feel like muscle underneath or fluid?
Is there anything non-surgical I can do about them?
If they are hernias then you could push them back in and bind them while the tissue heals over top. And you will need to strengthen the tissues by increasing collagen formation. The main things for this are silica, vitamin C, gotu kola, dipsacus and Eupatorium (boneset).
