The first candida diet was developed by an MD in the late 1950s. That diet excluded fruits in an attempt to eliminate candida. That diet never worked. It was the first anti-candida diet however, and ever since then all other diets have been based on the same protocol. Science shows that when you try and starve candida, you actually cause it to go systemic in the body. That science wasn't around in the 1950s and no one else has taken the time to analyze the research. Tweet
