Mixing natural remedies with antibiotics?

Hello All,

New here and had a Barth abscess a few years ago and now have another one that's very painful but having caught it earlier this time around since I now know the nightmare to expect, I pursued consultation/treatment more hastily.

I am interested in what I've been reading about on how to help treat and even possibly prevent these things that can hijack life. As if women didn't have enough problems. I am interested in trying some of these remedies. I've taken Epsom Salt baths, am using hot compresses all day, and am on an Antibiotic known as Ciprofloxacin. Does anyone know out there if there are any remedies mentioned on the forum that might be detrimental if mixed with the above mentioned antibiotic?

The only other one I've ever had was a few years ago and it resulted in surgery and drainage (being put to sleep, the whole deal)as well as a week of missing work (which caused me stress because I had already used up my sick days) and not being able to walk. The percocet given to me after that surgery though strong, was always short lived. The result was me unable to walk from the operation to crawling on all fours to get to the bathroom to throw up the percocet which can make you quite sick if you take them as often as your pain calls for. It's demeaning.
Women who go through this are heroes to me. No make that warriors.
