Re: Almost cured by turning off gas heater?????

Do you think it is some by-product of the natural gas that was causing your asthma/allergies, or maybe even a leak? Or do you think it may be some type of build-up (mold, pollen, dust) in the heating ducts that collected since last winter?
I am going to do what you are suggesting: Get an electric heater, leave the (oil) heat off, and see if I am better.
I live beside a four-lane highway, though, so that may be part of it. It is very hard for me to keep the windows closed, though, because I feel trapped if I do that.
Thank you for your advise and telling us about your experiences.
I think I will have my carpets cleaned more often, too.
I would like to ask you one other question: Do you have actual heating ducts, where heated air blows out of them from a central source? I do.

Paul
