Perfectly preserved mosquito lying dead on the floor

Considering the daily activities of a mosquito, im curious to know how it would have died. Are there any diseases that are spread by mosquitos, that can be passed to humans, that would before they infect a human, kill them? Are there any human diseases that would kill a mosquito?
