Re: Dry fasting and EYES

Hi Rowan,

I can see your dilemma if you only have one eye and it isn't that good anyway.

My sight always seems to improve for some reason when I dry fast. Like I've said before I got lots of pains in my eyes on my longest fast, which seems to indicate the body was healing them.
My theory is that the body knows which body parts it needs the most to keep itself alive, so the hips are more important than the elbows because you need them to run away from danger.
The eyes are very important as without them you can't see and if you were a caveman then that would be instant death.
I think my eyes did get blood shot once when fasting but I can't remember, it might even have been a water fast.
I'm 46 hours dry right now and my eyes have no blood shot or pain but my sight is better.
Personally I would fast through it longer, you said it went away when you broke the fast so that proves it was healing it rather than killing it off, all my injurys flare up and get worse when fasting so if your eye was hurting then that is a GOOD sign.
It is normal for the body to heal the eyes on a short fast as they are one of the most important parts of the body.

good luck
Julian.
