Re: Candida and Alkalinity

This is a common misconception that is based in a lot of misinformation around pH. One of the triggers for the conversion of candida from its normal yeast form to a pathogenic fungal form is the presence of an alkaline pH. In an acid pH, it converts back to it's normal yeast form. The digestive tract and vaginal tissue are predominantly acidic. Even the skin should be slightly acidic. Not every tissue in the body is supposed to be alkaline.
