I too live way to far and our budget is very tight.

We used to live in Montery, when my husband worked there for one year. We stayed on at Fot Ord Army Base.

Lovely,lovely,lovely. . . . but very expensive to live there.

The weather was ideal, summer through winter temps were from 58-85 degrees most of the time and the ocean air was incrediable. I used to love to walk our dog on the beach and watch the handgliders. Miss it there.
