You know the scrubbers. In Jordan we use these leaves to cure cancer with and they are the best. I can find no documentation on this. Have you ever heard of this before?

Most of the research on the subject is on the seeds not the vines.  But here is one article on the cucurbiticans in luffa leaves, which have anti-tumor activity:
