 Please, all who can offer suggestions. Ways to calm the sympatheic nervous system. !

So far all I have is taking some natural things, which I develope a tolerance to in time, passion flower, Taurine,
Listening to my sleep and relaxation CD's. And reading my Psalms.

Glycine does the same thing as taurine, but is easier to absorb due to the smaller size.  Make sure to take the aminos on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before meals.

Ashwagandha also increases brain GABA levels to calm a person.

Chinese licorice root (G. uralensis) is calming and one of the best adrenal support herbs available.  Do not use American licorice root (G. glabra), which is stimulating.

Other calming agents include kava, magnesium malate or citrate and  scullcap.
