You have made my point exactly, nutrients come in many forms, and argument against something because it is not perceived as necessary is irrelevant(strawman). Milk provides nutrients, people need nutrients to sustain their vitality. Milk is a source of nutrients. There is a need for food that contains nutrients. Cows eat grass that is difficult for humans to digest, it just so happens that they turn it into a product that is much easier to digest. And when it is raw it is much easier to digest than when it is pasteurized. Raw milk taken from organic healthy cows has been utilized to cure various ailments. Were there other options that those people could have used? Maybe.
