Re: We can not be 0 carbohydrates

She's probably a 120lbs woman who gets protein from soy or the like. For the average man out there especially athlete and daily workers who have lots of lean muscle mass to feed, tiny 50 grams of protein a day isn't going to cut it.

I can already tell that we (soccermom and I) are already on completely different wavelengths about how to research, what to believe and not to believe and the general way of thinking so I'm going to bow out of this discussion.

Aijian, to be honest, i wouldn't do oral chelation myself personally. I don't feel comfortable taking the chelation drugs on a GI tract that is just so terrible. I have reactions to everything including the 1/2 dose of fluconazole just from sheer GI irritation. I will be opting for Dr. buttar's method of DMPS slow drip IV done by my doctor who does hundreds of those since he opened his clinic. I cant say whether it will flare yeast but I can probably suggest that IV chelation is a) much more effective at chelation than oral b) isnt directly hard on the GI tract and may be easier to deal with than oral doses.

Where are you located? I can try and find a practitioner of Dr. Buttar's chelation method. He serves on the board of American board of clinical metal toxicology and knows what he's talking about. I remember you saying that you took a Xymogen chelation pill that has a bunch of DMSA, EDTA, cilantro, etc? and also remember you said you had high lead. There are specific chelation agents that they use for different metals but for lead it will be IV EDTA. And even that, is a recognized treatment by conventional medicine! Isn't that something. But for some reason, if you add minerals and vitamins to that same IV for the same procedure and protocol, insurance will not cover it. Such BS.
I just received a message from a fellow guy who I keep in contact with and for some reason he emailed me out of the blue which cheered me up. He said he was in Dr. Buttar's office and got to talking with a woman in her 60s who was in bed for 10 years and couldnt leave the house due to fibromyalgia and seen plenty of doctors and following chelation challenge test she showed high levels of metals and got chelation therapy. According to him, she is perfectly healthy and living a normal life now. 10 years, i cant even imagine that.

If my health permitted me to start today, I would do it right now. But recovery is a such a slow and arduous journey for me.
