Re: My laundry list of side effects...

I had everyone one of your listed symptoms also while I had the mirena, and after. I am 7 months post removal and feeling MUCH better, but only after I started on the estrogen patch. I swore I would never be on any hormones again, but my estradiol levels were so low, and I was so miserable. I also spoke with a compound pharmacists and did the saliva test and he says I am still on the low level of estradiol even with replacement and low on progesterone. He recommended biogenetical hormones replacement. I am going to give it a try.I feel like I am almost normal again, but it was a LONG journey. I am working out, losing weight, driving without anxiety and sleeping like a baby. I actually am sleeping too deep because I have been sleeping through thunder storms and my kids crying in the night. I continue to do the in fared sauna 3-4x/week.

Hang in there ladies. Hopefully one day this will all be a bad memory. I do think this effects us for life though, because every time I feel some little ache/pain I have a flash back and fear it is from the mirena.

I encourage everyone to get there hormone levels checked to include estradiol, progesterone, LH, FSH, testosterone and DHEA.

Take care and keep posting.
