Re: Are Bach Flowers strong enough?

Bach remedies do work. Sometimes they work right away and sometimes the problem is so deep seated, it takes a while. It's important to have the right remedy too.

I used Rescue Remedy successfully on my daughter for her thunder phobia. She used to experience extreme anxiety at very faint rumbles and become hysterical during thunderstorms. Rescue Remedy has completely resolved that. We recently had a thunderstorm and she was in her room doing her homework. I went back there to offer her some RR and she said quite calmly, "no thanks, I'm good". She's now 13 and we began giving her rescue remedy when she was 7 or 8 for her fears. Its only been in the last few years that I've noticed her not having any heightened anxiety to them. So, based on my experience, I'd definitely say that Bach's remedies do work.

One caveat, I would only order bach remedies from Bach or a Bach reseller, If it's not in the familiar yellow labeled bottle, I'd return it. Swanson's vitamins and iherb have them for a good price. I'd also take the remedies from the stock bottle and not dilute them, put them full strength in a bit of water. Mix entire stock bottles in an empty bottle for custom blends and take full strength.
