We've had people do it both ways, but the Candida Force is bitter and acidic and can be hard on the tissues of the throat. Some people have broken them open and swallowed them with water or food. They are a smaller capsule and should be easier for kids to swallow than the Detox Essentials. The Detox Essentials can be opened and mixed with water. Tweet
