Re: Schisandra vs Ashwagandha

You can also get a pound of Schisandra chinesis berry powder for 7 dollars from http://www.herbalcom.com
With many other herbs. I always order from them. Then if you want you can put them in a capsule if you don't like the taste of the powder, with Cap-M-Quik.

I have not taken Schisandra chinesis, but I am going to order it soon. I have and still do take Ashwagandha and consider it to be one of the best herbs for my nerves. I have tried a lot of herbs too. I take in the evening since it makes me sleepy. It is one of the few adaptogens that will make you sleepy too. One of the unique things about Schisandra stimulating in the mourning and sedative at night. Hope that helps. But I think it's just a little more stimulating than sedating. Good luck.
