Magnesium Hydroxide will change your stomach from acidic to neutral by certain reactions, i.e. creating water.

The magnesium hydroxide form keeps your bowels osmotic, helping to move stool. Too much would lead to diarrhea, obviously.

Keep in mind that when supplementing Vitamin D, it tends to improve absorption of other minerals like Lead too. Thus, simply eat beneficial mineral loaded foods with it or supplement beneficial minerals to deter Vitamin D's affinity for non-beneficial minerals. Tweet
