he needs Iodine and selenium internally. i have no idea of dosage, especially for the selenium. but they are essential and you must try.

i give my 45 pound lab mix 2 drops of SSKI a week. thats about 60mg of KI. i am using the same stuff i make and take and sell on the Iodine forum.

i know that the biology is different in some key aspects between dogs and people. however, it seems to me the methylated form of selenium that we use - selenomethionine - would be preferable. selenium is what killed those polo ponies in florida a few years ago. the vet gave them too much. why give them such a dangerous substance, you ask? because without it they get tumors.
