Help a newbie get a good start plzzz

Hi,
After some hesitation, then some reading, I am going with my gut feeling this does work.

I am having trouble knowing where to find reliable info to learn. Also devices. I found devices that use light.. but wasn't the original rife using sound waves?

Please please guide me to where I can learn about this technology, and what are the devices that have been tested and proven to actually work with scripts
