Believe me, I don't like going to the dentist either! Life is not a constant bowl of cherries for anyone. When I lived in CA Baka got his teeth cleaned (anesthetic free) every month. Now that I am in MD, that is not available, so he gets it done twice a year...it was easier on him once a month because he was used to it and his dentist was his buddy, but he tolerates it ... a little better then I do I think. Actually he's kind of funny. Normally he has big, happy hellos for everyone he sees, even total strangers, but he takes one look at his new dentist, who is sitting on the floor waiting for him with all her teeth cleaning stuff, and he turns around and heads for the door..., once the cleaning starts, however, he behaves.

I don't know what you mean by herbs being an acquired taste. He takes them in capsules, so there is very little taste. But it is a discipline swallowing them. I just put a little softened butter on them and down they go.

He has Hashimotos and even tho he takes thyroid hormones, I have to watch his health like a hawk. Tweet
