Re: Diagnostic Measures

Paul, seems like your eyes are doing what they are supposed to do. At my sickest my eyes did dialate. However, it is my understanding that your temperature should rise during the day and body temp is related to thyroid. I have learned that compromised adrenals can cause secondary hypothyroidism and as the adrenals heal so does the thyroid. I like Wilson's site but learned a lot more on Dr. Lam's website.
Mostly I've learned my psychiatrist is a lot crazier than I am!! That was a relief. Poor functioning adrenals cause anxiety, insomnia, inability to deal with stress, digestive problems and a multitude of other symptoms. I wasn't depressed, I was exhausted so much so that it did resemble Depression but there IS a subtle difference. I did find help with Klonopin, with sleep and anxiety. It just has worked well for me, different things work for others. I don't like taking it but it has been a God send. And as my adrenals are healing I have been able to cut my usage in half. I also found considerable help with Kava Kava, L'Tryptophan, Melatonin and L'Theanine.
I did have to learn new ways of dealing with stress, physical and emotional. And I am teaching my body to relax; and learning to listen to my body. I did have to remove as much stress from my life as possible, quit my job, cut down on socializing, no caffeine, no sugar, very limited carbs, very limited exercising and more. I still don't have much energy but I don't feel sick or like I'm dying anymore. My mood is very good. There is hope!
Good luck and God Bless!
