zapping and surgical implants? parazapper help!

I have:

intestinal worms
a zapper
the zapper manual from parazapper.
a hernia repair that left stainless steel sutures implanted in my abdomen.

i read in the manual that there is the possibility of metal ions leaching from surgical implants when using the zapper. i am guessing that would include stainless steel thread, no?
it's not a lot of steel (i think), but it is there.

should i avoid zapping entirely, or just avoid zapping near the area of the repair?

i need to kill these worms that are killing me.
