I made a number of phone calls to different vitamin C companies and guess what?? Practically all C comes from freaking China with a few exceptions.

There is a Vitamin C Foundation which produces their vitamin C from Beets and it is from Europe - Belgium I think - I did take it for a while. I just ordered from Synergy - they are a great company and their C comes from food AND is really pretty high in strength. At least it is natural and not from china. Good luck. Tweet
