well i was broke

in '63 i was 14 and had spent my money on an outboard motor- a purchase i never regreted.

so the kook box was great for 2 months.it was free.

i ended up going to hawaii and building boards/traveling w/randy rarick n getting a MS degree too.my first sureform was a cheese grater my first sqeegee a cherios box top.

to this date i have built about 1,000 surfboards.mostly 72'-78'

my personal favorites hang on my walls.

the past 30 years, i have built/designed custom sail and powerboats for a living.....in composite plastic and epoxy/wood.

i wish i still had the kook box tho.
